Good morning to you, Odd friends!  Leah here to bring you a totally impromptu SPOTLIGHT!  We have a very exciting event coming up next week, and we’ve had to rearrange some things in our schedule, so I’m thrilled to bring you a spotlight a little early this week!  Are you ready for it?

This totally gorgeous and clean and simple card comes from a gal who’s certainly not new to Some Odd Girl stamps!  She actually WON this digi just over a month ago when I put her cute kitty card in the spotlight, so I’m happy to see she’s put her winnings to good use!  Check out this card from Ria, featuring our Woodsy Mae digi!

I love the very simple layout and the way the woodgrain paper matches the tree trunk in the image PERFECTLY!  Gorgeous, Ria!

Friends, why not drop by Ria’s blog to see what she has to say about marker comparisons (she used two different types of markers on this card) and let her know your experience with either or both of them?  I’m sure she’d love to hear from you!

Ria, for this little beauty, you’ve got yourself another two digis from the Some Odd Girl store!  Please email Kristy@someoddgirl.com and you’ll have another code coming to you!

Remember, Oddies…  Linking up in the sidebar could mean free digis for you!  Share ANY and ALL of your July projects in the right sidebar and be sure to link back to us in your blog post, and you might find yourself in the spotlight, too!

And, ahem, let today’s spotlight just be a little prelude to what we’ve got coming next week!  I’ll be sharing a little sneaky action with you on Friday, but watch our Facebook group for announcements about the event when we make the announcement!

Welcome to the weekend, Oddies!  Hope you’re all looking forward to wrapping up a busy week and have some fun plans ahead for crafty time and relaxation this weekend!

So we’ve had a fun week at Some Odd Girl, and I have winners to announce from our clear release, annnnnnd our Pinterest contest!  Shall we just get to the nitty gritty?  Hmmm, I think I’ll share a Friday spotlight from our Linky Party (check the right side bar!) first…

This girl used the Sweet Thinkin’ Mae clear stamp set and did this crazy awesome thing to frame the white panel…  You have to check out Maria’s blog to see what I’m talking about!  Look at this fun project!

So cute, Maria!  Love the color scheme, and that background paper is so fun and pretty!  The design of the card is simple but it packs one heck of a punch, especially with the twiny sequin border!  Maria, please send an email to Kristy@someoddgirl.com and she’ll hook you up with a code to redeem for 2 free digis of your choice!  Congrats, and thanks for linking up!

Woo hoo!  I love telling people they’ve won stuff!  So in true Odd fashion, it’s time to announce our clear stamp release winners.  First, Teacher Mae!  Our winner is….

Deb Vee!
(you are certainly not alone in wanting to teach arts & crafts!)

Next up, the super adorable and versatile School Supplies clear stamp set goes to…

Julie Coe!
(I think your stationery obsession as a student probably carried over into your hobby!)

Yay!  Congratulations, ladies!  Thanks so much for commenting, and hey, remember to link up whatever you make in July using Some Odd Girl stamps to our linky party in the sidebar!  You could win MORE stuff!  In the meantime, please send your mailing addresses to Kristy@someoddgirl.com and she’ll have your new stamp sets in the mail on their way to you!

Annnnnnnd last, but certainly not least, we have a Pinterest contest winner!  We asked you to follow our Pin board so we could follow you back and add you as contributors to our Oddies Project Board.  Well we STILL want you to do that, but the contest has closed and we have a fantastic little Pin to share.  Are you ready?  Check out this PIN OF THE WEEK, an awesome little project/tutorial from Ellen H!

Ellen shares how to use the Nutsy Kaylee clear stamp set and incorporate it into your pocket scrapbooking, and we are IN LOVE with that woodgrain journal card!  Well the whole spread is pretty awesome, and the Squirrel works great with the outdoorsy theme and photos, so YAY, Ellen!  Thank you so much for rockin’ the SOGgies, and for your PIN OF THE WEEK, we award you a sweet little badge for your blog, and $20 to spend at the Some Odd Girl shop!  Please email Kristy@someoddgirl.com and she’ll hook you up with your code to do some happy shopping!

And that’s how it’s done, friends!  Happy Pinning, happy crafting, get your ODD on, and enjoy your weekend!  We’re back Monday morning with a new Featured Digi (so grab the current one, Kite Flyin’ Mae, on sale before we switch them up!) – see you then!

Good morning, Oddies, and HAPPY FRIDAY!  Leah here to kick off the weekend with you, and WOOT!  We’ve had a very busy and fun week, with some awesome new digi releases and our blog hop, and I’m here to share a few little highlights from the week!

Our hop with Chic Tags officially ends on Sunday night and we will not accept any entries past midnight Eastern on 6/29, so HURRY!  It’s a short one, with LOADS of inspiration at every stop along the way!  HERE’S WHERE YOU’LL START if you’re just now getting around to it!

Annnnnd here are some snippets, because WOW!

First… this one from Jennifer Haggerty:

She incorporated the Everyday Smiles clear stamp set into her scrapbooking, and we think it works wonderfully!  Jen used multiple sentiments plus the chevron pattern stamps – what a great way to tie everything together by using repeating accents!  And HOW awesome are all of these embellishments, for real?!  Love your page, Jen!

Next, this girl used the Make a Statement clear stamp set and brought the magic with a scrappy page AND a card…  Feast your eyes!

LOVE what Suz Mannecke did with the sentiments, especially that strip with the chevrons which are reminscent of tire treads on this page!  SO. MUCH. FUN!  But look, there’s more!

AGH!  Yes, I’m serious!  Isn’t this a ridiculously fun title treatment?  Fab ideas, Suz, and thanks to both of these lovely ladies for sharing their projects!   We hope you’re as inspired as we are, and we invite you to HOP with us!  The Chic Tags team have really rocked it, and we are honored to be sharing the proverbial stage with them!

So CLICK HERE TO HOP, and be sure to leave a comment at EVERY stop to be eligible to win $15 from BOTH the Some Odd Girl and Chic Tags shops!

And if you didn’t catch our digi release this week, check out Melissa’s reveal post and then see what the other Odd Girls did to show off the new gorgeous digi and cut files!   Have a fantastic weekend, and we’ll be back Monday!
