Hi Oddies! It’s May and in Odd-land thats means mermaids! Of course, you just have to listen to the word: mermaid…mermai..mermay! Thats right!

So I’ve got some mixed media tags for you today, with two beautiful new mermaids, Mergaze Mae and Waiting Mermaid Mae.

Waiting Mermaid Mae is sitting on some collage made of some vintage bookpages and sewing patterns. On top of that I’ve added some acrylic paint through a couple of stencils. Then I just scribbled a little, splattered some paint, added som thread and chose a Small Talk-sticker.

The other tag I put through my diecut machine to add some bubbles in the background. Then I once again used acrylic paint but here I just played with my fingers and water to get a nice effect. I added som highlights on the bubbles with some scribbles and white acrylics. Finally I once again added som vintage bookpaper, splatters, thread and a Small Talk-sticker.
