Hi Oddies! Nichole here with another inspiration fresh to you like the driven snow! This time I’m feeling inspired by the Northern lights, starry nights, furry yetis, and glittery brights!
I’m featuring one of my favourite stamp sets – the Yeti Clear Stamp Set! This adorable abominable snow guy is Yeti to Party at all times – perfect for Birthdays, Christmas, or any occasion where a good pun can go a long way!
I’ve used Basic Gray Aurora paper and ephemera for a starry Northern Hemisphere night. I’ve used a separate piece of paper with star border punches, backed with dry adhesive and burnished glitter into the negative star spaces. To continue to the glittery fun, I’ve burnished glitter into strips of Scor Tape on the opposite side. Silver foiled paper sits behind this Yeti, which has been coloured using Copic Markers in B00, B01, G00, BG11, B05, and C3. White highlights have been done with a Signo Broad gel pen.
Glittery twine is held in place with a star button. “Yeti to Party” sentiment is perfect on a party banner from Simon Says Stamp, meticulously held in place with Glue Dots and dry adhesive.
Rawr! Get your party face on with this handsome fellow, straight from the Northern Lights! This guy is sparkling from head to toe with a Wink of Stella in Clear all over his furry body. Unfortunately this touch didn’t show up on camera.

Here’s the view from the side. This Yeti has been propped up with some foam tape – giving a lower clearance than foam squares.
Thanks for looking! I hope this card doesn’t leave you out in the cold! I love cool tones and love working with layering effects, such as glitter and adhesive.
Here in New Zealand it’s been bitterly cold as the last vestiges of Winter have their hold and move on to Spring. How about you, Oddies? Are you looking forward to cooler weather? Is Winter truly Coming to you? Or are you in the Southern Hemisphere like me, holding out hopes of a warm spring?
Thanks for reading!
